Yes. You can activate UPI Global on your Bank Account on PurnPay by the following steps : Under the profile menu → UPI Global → Click on Activate for the account you want to use → Success. Note : You can only activate international transactions for bank accounts that support UPI International.
As per regulation, NPCI has currently allowed only P2M international payments. Payments are allowed to international merchants only and not to users.
UPI payment to an international merchant can be done using PurnPay by the following steps -
Scan the merchant QR code.
Enter the amount in payable foreign currency.
The total amount payable will be displayed in both local and Indian currency. The total amount will include the foreign exchange conversion rate and applicable bank fee.
To confirm your payment, click Pay and enter your UPI PIN. The debit from your bank account will happen in Indian currency.
No, you cannot cancel UPI payments once initiated as they are direct bank-to-bank transfers.
No, UPI global registration/deregistration happens on individual Bank Account. Your other UPI services will not be impacted on deregistering UPI Global.

Yes, forex fees will be applicable on all UPI Global payments. This is a fee charged by your bank for processing international payments.
On your PurnPay App, go to ‘My Transaction’ and select the transaction you want to raise dispute with. The chatbot will guide you through raising any dispute related to any kind of transaction, inclusive of Global. For further tracking of the ticket you can check it from My Ticket History tab in the Profile menu.
